The food was very good and the staff were friendly, but the service was extremely slow and poorly managed. I placed a take-out order at 5:50 PM and was instructed to pick it up at 6:20 PM. I arrived right on time, only to be told to wait an additional 10 minutes. At 6:30, I was again told to wait 5 more minutes — a cycle that repeated until I finally received my order at 7:05 PM.
At least five or six other customers appeared to be in the same frustrating situation. It’s clear that this business should only provide pickup estimates they are confident in meeting. To make matters worse, I requested a drink while waiting unexpectedly and was charged for it — despite the inconvenience and lack of transparency. There was no apology, no empathy, and no acknowledgment of the 45-minute delay. They may have been under staffed, but that is not an excuse for improper customer communciations.
Great food can’t make up for such poor communication and disregard for the customer’s time.
